Basic Jiu Jitsu Fundamentals
Students in this program will learn the techniques and training methods that form the base of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as taught by Renzo Gracie, his family, and his top students. Whether you would like to get in better physical condition, learn the worlds most effective form of unarmed self-defense, and/or compete in the fast-growing world of sport jiu jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), our basic program will provide you with the foundation you need to reach your goals. This program is for anyone at least 15 years of age. It features gi (judo uniform) and no-gi training. Some of the best aspects of basic wrestling, MMA, and judo training are incorporated. All classes labeled “fundamentals”  as well as “conditioning” are open to basic program students (see our schedule page).


Jiu Jitsu
A black belt is someone who was a white belt and did not give-up. Students who are members of our Jiu Jitsu academy have trained in the Basic Gracie Jiu Jitsu Program and want to continue the journey. Renzo says that we are links in the chain that includes the Gracie family and other martial artist going back through the centuries. We strive to uphold the standards of our teachers and extend the chain into the future. All classes appropriate for a students belt rank are open to jiu jitsu students. At this point students have clear personal goals. We will help them reach these goal.

Private and small group jiu jitsu training
Private lessons are a great way to excellerate your progress in jiu jitsu. Also private training can be helpful to thoses whoes schedules do not allow them to attend class at certain times or because of travel. Good rates and value are offered. 

Youth Jiu Jitsu & Grappling
Youth Jiu Jitsu & Grappling participants must be between the ages of 8-14 years. Classes will be structured, but without the traditionalism and cultural influences of other martial arts programs. Safety is our highest priority. Our goals with this program are to develop strength, flexiblity, and conditioning applicable to all sports. Our youth particpants will learn techniques and movement skills from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling and Judo. Training will give young people a realistic sense of self-confidence, a fun outlet for energy, a positive social environment, and, better health. 

MMA fighter management and training

Boxing
Boxing training is available to our fight team. Private and small group boxing training is also available.


Hardstyle Circuit Training

Physical fitness is important. The hardstyle circuit training classes are intense and effective at increasing muscle, functional strength, flexibility and promoting health.

Russian Kettlebells and the Hardstyle (TM) system

Russian Kettlebells used in the system designed by Pavel Tsatsouline, one of the worlds top fitness experts/trainers, are a deceptively simple “old-school” fitness tool. They have been in use for at least 300 years by Russian strongmen, atheletes and military as their primary fitness tool. Our instructor has been certified by Pavel Tsatsouline’s organization.

TRX suspension trainer
Developed by a former Navy SEAL the TRX has become one of the fastest growing fitness training method in the USA since it’s launch two years ago. Many fitness publications have featured articles about the TRX including Men’s Heath, and Outside Magazine. One of the many benefits is that resistance can be adjusted for any type of workout. TRX training can benefit anyone form an elite athlete to someone recovering from injury.
